A new study case have been published named “LAND USE AND LAND COVER CHANGES, A CASE STUDY FROM NORTHWESTERN UPLANDS OF CAMBODIA”. (Author: Rada Kong)
Excerpt: Reading the title, you might question why we are interested in selecting the Northwestern upland as a case study. In fact, the region is a unique geographical location for not only being former Khmer Rouge strongholds, but also the biggest allocation of forest lands for national scale demobilization of military. The changes of land use and land cover are dramatic and shocking.

A Learning Content Management System (LCMS or CMS) is currently setting up at RUA Computer Center.
It will host the e-learning courses (around 12 courses and more thirty module). The platform features a range of services as such as an Agrological online library, forum, comments option, e-learning news, and content about experiments leading on the campus (digital campus). More than that a connection between Royal University of Agriculture of Phnom Penh and University of Battambang will be set up on the platform in order to promote the soil digital museum of Battambang, and on the other hand to promote online courses for University of Battambang students. We hope such numerical initiative will strengthen knowledge in agroecology, agriculture in general, for both universities.
Emilie is leaving Cambodia and RUA but she will stay with us and support SOM content development during the coming months.
Have a safe trip, and welcome back to Europa 😉
Pick up an activitiy and test your knowledge about Agriculture, agroecology and Conservation Agriculture. We warn you, this is NOT easy. Enjoy!
